Concerned About The Purity of Your Drinking
Water?
Are you concerned about your drinking water,
then please continue reading.
Many people worry about getting sick from tap
water, because of articles on the news and in the papers, for
instance about Legionella outbreaks.
Look at this quote from a story on ABC News, a reporter stated
that “One man told me he's the only one "who's brave enough" to
drink tap water at home. His family's afraid to drink tap water
because of germs, he said. Unfortunately there are plenty more
comments like that!
Did you know also that comprehensive studies
have shown there are over 2,000 toxins in our drinking water,
which include lead, chloride and other contaminants such as
those discharged from factories and applied to
farmlands.
Due to the many news stories about the negative
aspects of our water, we are all beginning to feel very
concerned and are looking for ways to protect our health. Many
are already proactive in protecting themselves and their
families, we try to aim for eat fruit and veg daily, as well as
buying organic produce when it is possible. Many have realised
that the number one way of improving health is by drinking good quality
water.
Don’t you find it shocking and feel very
concerned that these contaminants and toxins are found in the
water we drink. After the latest water scare I felt research
was needed to protect my family.
Is Bottled Water Really
Safer?
Like me, because you have serious doubts about the quality of
our drinking water, you may have started to buy bottled water.
We all think
this is a way we can protect ourselves from the toxins in our
water. Unfortunately, this is a false economy because there
are
no
government standards that state that bottled water adhere to
certain standards.
An authority body such as the FDA (The Federal Drug
Administration) states
"Companies that market bottled water as being safer than tap
water are defrauding the American .
Wow what a negative statement.
Also the comment from Eric Olsen of the Natural
Resources Defense Council stated: “that millions of plastic
bottles being manufactured, transported and then disposed of
in U.S. landfills, are killing our planet, and for
no good reason ……
Even Yale
University School of Medicine's Dr. Stephen Edberg, the person
whom the International Bottled Water Association told "20/20"
News to talk to, agreed that bottled water is no better for you
than drinking water - "No,
I wouldn't argue it's safer or not
safer."
So, what's the solution if you want to protect
the health of your family. The answer is the use of a
home water filtration
system.
Do some research first, I already have, and found there are
significant differences between products. The more you pay for
a system does not mean that it is any better, so do not buy
just any
filtration system
.

Pros and Cons of a
Top Quality Water Filtration
system
1. On first glance its seems that the popular
“reverse Osmosis” or distillation systems are the best.
However, although they do a good job of removing contaminants,
the negative aspect is that they also remove the beneficial
minerals that are vital for our health – thus they remove
everything –
both the good and the bad. Remember that our bodies need the
important minerals contained in water e.g. calcium, magnesium,
potassium, and many more.
Nowhere in the world can you actually find
de-mineralized water unless a household has installed a reverse
osmosis system. Therefore, because of this great disadvantage I
cannot wholeheartedly recommend this
system.
2. A multi-filtration system is a must. This is
recommended as this type of system gets rid of the worst toxins
and contaminants by filtering them out several times. If this
is not done, in all likelihood you will probably be drinking
some of the harmful stuff that you don’t want to enter your
body.
3. If you suffer from any skin disorders, even
dry skin, you will find excellent benefits in water free from
contaminants. It feels wonderful to bath in pure, fresh
water. Don’t
forget the benefits of pure water used in
cooking.
A question many ask themselves is ‘how can I
check if this is a good company’, because many companies make
the claim that theirs is the best product. Remember to look for
a current California Certificate of
Approval, as California has the most stringent
standards of any state.
Various sources
have recommended
Aquasana
This company was recommended to me and after
some research I am pleased to agree with the recommendation, a
few of the reasons:
-
Most of us are on a household budget today, and so everyone
can benefit from excellent quality water, they have

Now, there are many well know brands and companies out
there that produce good, decent products. But dollar for
dollar, there is none better than Aquasana. They

America since 2003.
-
They sell products just for filtering shower water. Just a
couple of the comments about this product include:
-
"The benefits are immediate and very noticeable!"
Dr. Alan Pressman/Health Talk Radio
-
"It's
like showering in natural spring water!"

"Blow-Out"
Aquasana
is Latin for "water to heal" they
confirm that years of development have gone into making
their product the very best, and those who have tried
